President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, for Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where he is expected to attend the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally.

The President is scheduled to participate in the rally on Saturday, November 7, as part of the party’s mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Tinubu’s departure from Uyo follows a two-day visit to Akwa Ibom and Rivers states, during which he commissioned several infrastructure projects completed by Governor Umo Eno’s administration.

Among the projects inaugurated were the new International Terminal Building, the International Airport Hospital and the Ibom Aviation Village, all located at the Victor Attah International Airport.

Others included the Airport-Okopedi Road, Ring Road 3, the AKWA-GIS Office Complex, the Command and Control Centre and the ARISE Palm Resort.

The President also attended an APC political rally in Uyo as part of his engagements in the state.

The Port Harcourt rally will be Tinubu’s third major campaign outing since the APC commenced its re-election campaign with a flag-off rally in Kaduna last month.

The visit is also expected to provide an opportunity for the President to engage with party leaders, political stakeholders and supporters in Rivers State.
